Glad you posted that: I was beginning to think Ken was bumping people off.;)

Not the result of a global killing spree but rather of being too sick to leave the house and having nothing more productive to do than having an open computer in front of me.

Well that's one way of trying to make yourself feel better when you're feeling ill...... scanning the obituaries, looking for recent casualties!

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

So long as he doesnt find himself its fine .a bit spooky if you read your name and suddenly realise why your mrs doesnt hear you asking for a cuppa !

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Mathew 4:19

Grangers law : anything i say will  turn out the opposite or not happen at all!

Life insurance? you wont enjoy a penny!

"To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical." Thomas Jefferson

John.

It would be ungentlemanly to scan the obituaries, "looking for recent casualties"!

The BBC or Google News are much more up-to date.

My little virus feels like influenza - including the breathlessness, gut problems, numb fingers, painful patches of unblemished skin and headaches with flashing lights when I close my eyes.

I went to work with it today - not my most productive day in the office!
