From peaking at 60.80in February 2018 it has gradually slid away 52 now dropping month by month it was 52 in 2015 like I said his tariffs might just be backfiring and at the end of the day the consumer will pay for his antics as prices rise .

Tariffs don't generally sit well with Republicans but they are necessary to offset lower labour costs and return manufacturing jobs to the US. Remember, this is not a quick fix, The aim is to see significant jobs transfer back to the US by 2020 because increasing AI capabilities mean that if manufacturing bases aren't re-established in the west in the next 5 years, it will never happen and both the US and Europe will be relegated to the status of developing countries.

I watched dispatches last night if that is anything to by with chlorinated washed chicken god help us food poising in the US on average is 10 times high than the uk chicken the main culprit worth a watch it will have put the Willys up many many people tests were done in lab and the results were not good and processing plants were filthy shocking to watch .

Watched something on tv last night about cooking in a resturant ,never seen such a dirty pan! I refuse to eat out its bad enough the food we eat is produced and stored badly but buying someones sweat and dandruff in a resturant madness

“Prostitutes and drug dealers are set to give Britain a £10bn boost as the country revamps the way it measures its economy.

 

Britain said on Thursday it would include prostitution and illegal drugs in its official national accounts for the first time. The move is one of the changes planned for September that will add up to 5 per cent to the UK’s gross domestic product.

 

September’s revisions will change the official size and shape of the economy and rewrite recent economic history.

 

The UK is not alone in updating how it measures its economy to meet international standards. Last week, Italy’s statistical office said it would start to include, among other activities, the sale of cocaine and prostitution. And last year the US expanded its definition of investment, which added 3.6 per cent to the size of 2012 GDP.

 

In its first attempt to measure illegal activity other than smuggling, the Office for National Statistics said prostitution would add £5.3bn to GDP in 2009 and illegal drugs would add £4.4bn.

 

The ONS breakdown reckons that each of the UK’s estimated 60,879 prostitutes took about 25 clients a week in 2009, at an average rate of £67.16. It also estimates that the UK had 38,000 heroin users, while sales of the drug amounted to £754m with a street price of £37 a gram.”

 

It’s called lots of things by many people, it would seem that the measure of people who support or object such policies is solely motivated by support or dislike of the individual or administration implementing the policy.

So food poising is 10 times higher in the US on average in comparison to the UK food experts doing tests in lab and finding massive discrepancies compared to our food standards you can eat a much of that chicken as you can like I wouldnt touch it with a barge pole EU food standards on food are way above those in the US watch the programme its all there for you to see .

Just because theres rules doesnt mean they are followed ,findus never sold horse meat? ,the food processing plant never picked up meat off the floor or changed tracking lables? Mathews never brought in dodgy meat from the EU?

We send meat all over the world for processing can you provide proof its handled safely and more importantly kept at the safest temperature 100% of the time? We are no different we just are more clever hiding it
