Setting Screen Resolution

Sportsman

Recommended Posts

I am currently running win 7 and have two 22" screens. Bothe have VGA inputs

They run from a video card that has one VGA output and one DVI output so the DVI side has a converter to VGA

Both screens should have a native resolution of 1680 X 1050

The screen from the VGA output is recognised and is set to1680 X 1050

The DVI connected screen is not recognised so is described as Generic Non PnP monitor.

There is no option to set the resolution to 1680 X 1050. The nearest I can get is 1400 X 1050

Is it likely to be the converter that is changing it?

Is there another way of changing screen res apart rom Win control panel?

Thanks
