I'm not sure. Some experts argue that ‘ex-‘ refers to the immediate past position while ‘former’ refers to position held earlier. "Ex- Prime Minister" would be the one immediately before the current one(?)

 

I may have both an ex-wife and a former wife (should I be very unlucky)

Just me - I certainly don't know for sure (?)

Newt told me once that an "ex President" would be one removed from office through impeachment.

I am comfortable I know what I am talking about. However, I am probably not the only "expert" on the subject. It very well may be one of those definitions that is truly in limbo.

Well I googled and have become confused myself. The press was very careful to use neither when Nixon resigned. I suspect they didn't know either. The best I could find is as follows:

I knew that bit. Nixon quit before he could be impeached. I can''t recall any President being referred to as an "ex" in any formal context.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Well, he is certainly the noisiest, but with the sound turned down and the teletext turned off, there is some good scenery and action - the fishing guides see to that.
