Bloody Microsoft!

Had an automatic Windows 10 upgrade over the weekend - and now Edge won't load. Seems a common problem looking on line but none of the suggested 'fixes' have worked for me. I know I can use Chrome (or another browser) but I had 1000s of favourites bookmarked in Edge - so suddenly not having access to them is is bloody irritating to say the least!!!

You might be able to import from within chrome without the need to open edge ?

Nice try - that didn't work - but I did manage to import from IE so have retrieved anything that was over a year old - so have most of it - thanks for the idea - Edge will now be ditched permanently!

Perhaps firefox will import them the import them onwards?

I especially like firefoxes sync where you log in using any pc or tablet and your favourites and cookies are waiting ,google does something similar

 

Theres also software called mozbackup where you can store all firefoxes settings and thunderbirds as well so you can store all your cookies and bookmarks along with all your mail elsewhere ,its a pity its a manual save but better than nothing
