last boat trip

With the famous Paul Whittall and the offshore rebel, top skipper on the south coast, before he retires.

What a gas I have had with him for many years. a psychopathic comedian of the highest order. As he has spent most of his life on the other side of the channel, ( Alderney) he's now considering exploring the u k. God bless you sir. A real star and a very hard act to follow.

Jamie Pullen has bought the business and we will be doing our monthly trips with him. A very keen semi commercial skipper who has vast experience in angling as well as the commercial boats, so we are in very safe hands and looking forward to the crack as well.

Onwards and upwards, and a very deep seated thanks to Paul for all that he has done for us anglers. :bye1:

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

:clap3: I did my first Alderney trip with Paul, many, many years ago and I've never looked back. Very knowledgeable with a dry sense of humour, he will be well missed. Is he retiring abroad to warmer far eastern climes? :clap3:

he's keeping his Thailand house Norm, renting it out in the winter. He's going there in November and spending three months telling his guest's the pleasures that await them, then off to California with his boy for a holiday.

He has told us he wants to buy a narrow boat and explore the u k as he has spent so little time at home, bless him. :D

Managed to squeeze on his very last charter trip in November, two days before he leaves the u k. Mind you this weekend just gone, the trip was very good. Lots of blonde ray, nothing big up to 20lb. but we spent time on the bream and they where feeding just like mackerel do. Don't tell TAT. Went home with half a cool box full, 2 lb minimum . Gave them away to my mates in east sussex and they where all eaten on the sunday, fresh out of the ice. I had to make do with scallops from the dive boats ( big cod note, not dredged) And the squid have started to show, my mate gave me his and it tasted superb, Roll on November for some more.

cheers Norm.
