I still pop in most days, but struggle to find anything worthwhile to say. There's a limit on the number of angling topics that can be discussed without too many repeats, and a dwindling number of participants makes it even harder.

I think I've seen Barry L, and Big Cod on here a couple of times recently, :D and although the Brexit thread is as boring as hell, without it AN would probably have 'expired' already.

A few personal problems, along with apathy, brought on by my feelings towards much of todays angling scene, prevent me from anything but the odd session, when the urge becomes too great to ignore. So any kind of fish-in would be very unlikely for me.

Much more of this and b c will be doing a curtsy next. :whistling::whistling::whistling:

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

I still have AN on my favourites, but probably drop in less than I used to. My preferred content is some of the experiential stuff with pictures that used to grace the coarse and carp forums in much higher numbers than this year has seen. I suspect that Facebook is the more popular option now (I confess, I do partake myself)

I have not fished anywhere near as much as I used to over the last couple of years, but want to change this trend next season and be back on the bank much more.

I've often fancied the Wingham Fish-in, but have always been unavailable. Would prefer it to be a little bit later - say early June (16th?)

Keep it up fellow A-netters

Still drop in on a daily basis because sometimes something amusing or informative pops up.

My ancient bones won't let me get onto the bank unless I have fit company (Grandson home from Uni is useful). All of my local angling mates have now crossed the bar,and this site does offer a pastime for a few minutes a day.

Don't think a Fish-In is within my reach.I enjoyed the Itchen a few years back but that probably wouldn't work for me any more.

I still read them Chris, I read all the blogs. I rarely leave a comment though, I should, if only to show that I do.

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Still a few of us about then, posting or lurking. I do wonder how long the forum can limp along with such low volumes, though.

I've been thinking the same for months Steve, fully expecting to log on, and find nothing here. It somehow keeps limping along, some times breaking into a slow trot, then back again.

I'm still here but rarely post these days as there are few topics that interest me.

Unfortunately even some of the fishing topics turn to politics and these turn me off.

In fact we now have more politics posts with a few fishing ones rather than the other way round as we used to.

It might be a good idea for someone with more time than me to resurrect some of the old fishing topics.
