chance to beat the germans

I can think of nothing worse than a holiday that involves sun loungers, competition for the same and willingly spending the day cooped up in a hotel complex.

As for deliberately lying out in the full sun.... As Noël Coward observed, that's for "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" - and Germans apparently.

Very true, worst sort of holiday i can imagine is one of these lie on the beach package tours, mind numbing stuff.

£22 per lounger seems a bit strong (£88 for family of 4) & you'll probably STILL end up in a scrap or have to get the Manager to lever someone out of your reserved Sun bed. :rtfm:

I'd be a bit more happier to pay IF HALF the money was then donated to SKIN CANCER RESEARCH!!!!!!

The research has been done, the results are in and the advice is "Don't lie out in the sun for hours".

Agreed, although I would think being cooped up for a fortnight on those "cruise liners" so heavily advertised on television could be marginally worse

I spent 9 years floating about on the oggin. I'm buggered if I know why anybody would PAY to be cocooned in one of those bloody things. I don't mind getting lathered up in sunscreen and catching a few rays. I have do do it very gradually. I'm a Scot. We start off blue. The last time I was in Corsica I was white after 3 weeks ;-).

You pay money for a sunlounger?. LOL. Must have big effing windows in them places. In Normandie and in Corsica you just chuck a towel down and lie on it. Gratuit.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

if it ain't a fishing boat, it ain't a boat.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Its a money pit!

After owning boats from inflatables to 20ft sailers my idea of fun radically changed by the end of it ,we found hiring someone elses for a day was cheaper once the lenght of boat exceeded ten feet!

A reliant regal towing an 8ft dingy was probably the tipping point lol
