It may go in the micro ,i have a very sensitive gut and hate sitting on the bog for hours if its not completely nuked!

Any meat or fish gets a minute or two in the micro my mrs tends to guess times if she cooks ,i will either cook or set the timer if she insists but it still gets nuked

You would not have approved of what we ate last week then.

We caught these;

We barbecued about half of them, but as a starter I made this;

Just really fresh raw mackerel, sliced thin, with lime juice and tabasco.

The rest of them, I cured gravadlax style with salt, sugar and spices, and then we ate them raw with a crème fraiche and mustard sauce.

I like the raw herring? In oil You get in lidl ,it unfortunately repeats on me .

Strange really my stomach can tolerate food X one day then another i am in agony in the bog!

Strange it seems to have a connection to the mrs cooking and my supply of rat poison in the shed getting smaller ?

Unfortunately my sea fishing days are over not having a car so fish is to expensive to buy just to eat !

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Yeah, it's a small risk. Didn't see any worms, though. I shall continue to enjoy rare meat, soft eggs, unpasteurised cheeses and the odd bit of ceviche or sashimi and take my chances.
