Jeremy Corbyn offering under-18s £10 an hour

What he thinks will happen: The poor (and particularly the young and poor) will be elevated from poverty and live with dignity.

What will actually happen: Business owners will stop employing young people altogether and either shift the age profile of their staff or replace previously low paid, low skill staff with technology(as we've seen with self checkouts in supermarkets) and the young and poor will get poorer.

On the positive side, the poor are more likely to vote Labour, so that'll be a win for Jeremy....

I think it is called bribery to get the young vote and then like most Labour promises will fail to be delivered

The two best times to go fishing are when it's raining and when it's not

It's a typical Corbyn fantasy, and hopefully the young who were naïve enough to believe him a couple of years ago, have now gained enough 'savvy' to see through his words.

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Corbyn is one of the biggest bullsh*tt*rs in Parliament today. Come the next general election, as a Labour supporter I will NOT be voting for our local Labour candidate. I'll be voting Conservative instead. Not because I agree with Conservative party policies, but because I don't want to see that anus in power.

God help us if that ever happens

Trouble is, it's not just Corbyn. The far left have basically overtaken the whole party. The likes of John McDonnell, Diane Abbott and others are as least as bad as potential leaders/thought leaders and they are backed up by the Sturmabteilung thugs of Momentum and Antifa.
