Why should we give more money to africa ,we have been sending millions (billions?) to it for decades and nothing has changed .

It seems theres a million and one "clubs" designed so a few people in each live the high life in the best places in the best hotels eating the finest food promising other peoples money to those that appear to sit waiting rather than get off their arses and do something for themselves!

The biggest offender is the climate change lot ,nice poluting flight pumping out co2 directly i to the clouds ,nice countries to have their little meetings in ,best hotels ,most probably lots of "advisors" go with them .The tell everyone to only use one lightbulb and wear less leather on their feet and only eat grass then they all jet back home ,its crazy why dont they use the internet its clean compared!

As to rest of the clubs its just the same ,one set of ***** using poor peoples money to threaten other poor people but the thing in common not one ask the people whos money it is what they want ! Do they want more police on their street or do they want several people to go on a nice holiday at their expense and give it to some nigerian living in africa to idle to sort himself out .

The worlds ruling elite and their "advisors" seem to love telling others how to live ,they dictate who they trade with and give "loans" they know will harm the very people they are supposed to be helping and sanction countries that wont cow tow to their threats .time it stopped if people are to lazy to sort themselves out they die as nature intends .

If countries live their lives different to us let them ,if they want bigger guns let them and if they want to obliterage each other let them

Immigration is a joke ,a few ruling elite dictating people have rights (rights are earned not given) and you get millions of immigrants demanding those rights are given and they go to the front of the queue ,what happened to everyone elses rights ,wheres our rights to tell them to bugger off wheres our rights to refuse entry ,if you dont want the scum of the world coming to your country where our rights to stop them ? Wheres our rights to insist no-one comes over our borders using some rules a handfull of people dream up and DEMAND everyone else obeys them

Ah yes, the dreaded antifar terrorists.

From a report on racially or religiously motivated murders published in America.

"from 2009 through 2018, right-wing extremists accounted for 73 percent of such killings, according to the ADL, compared with 23 percent for Islamists and 3 percent for left-wing extremists"

Yes, and the organisations to which the neo-Nazi and Islamist whackjobs were affiliated are now prescribed terrorist organisations to which full counterterrorism resources are assigned and whose members are locked away in deep, dark holes when they commit or plan acts of violence.

Are you suggesting that left wing terrorists should get a free pass, just because there are more far-right and Islamist terrorists?

All,

Ken, no you suggested. To be clear perhaps we should look to England

No free man shall be taken, imprisoned, disseized, outlawed, or banished, or in any way destroyed, nor will he proceed against or prosecute him, except by the lawful judgment of his peers and the Law of the Land.

“The Law of the Land” (some jerks in 1215)

The government and its officials and agents as well as individuals and private entities are accountable under the law.

The laws are clear, publicized, stable, and just; are applied evenly; and protect fundamental rights, including the security of persons and property and certain core human rights.

The process by which the laws are enacted, administered, and enforced is accessible, fair, and efficient.

Justice is delivered timely by competent, ethical, and independent representatives and neutrals who are of sufficient number, have adequate resources, and reflect the makeup of the communities they serve.

Majority stripped down to just 1 Mr Johnson didnt take long holiday time is over the people in Wales gave you this ? with your threat of a no deal Brexit .Jane Dodds victory speech was damning on Boris Johnson she did not hold back he got it both barrels she said her first job when she goes to parliament is to go looking for Boris and tell him exactly what she thinks thats if he isnt in hiding ? this woman sounds like she means business.

This constituency voted very similar in the 2016 in the brexit referendum as England around 52% to leave but now with this result shows people have changed there minds with Brexit by voting in an anti brexit party candidate another referendum would allmost certainly give you the same outcome remain .

And more damning evidence on Boris Johnsons no deal Brexit but dont worry its just scaremongering ?

The Magna Carta had nothing to do with the common man it was written for the Lords of the land to protect themselves from the king .A "free" man was very short on the ground most were slaves in all but name to the lords

As for justice most is handed out by barely trained (just a couple of days)do gooders usually middle class idiots, given power to fine and imprison if they dont like your face, any legal representation you have is out to get results to favour themselves rather than present the truth of the case if its going to take more than a few minutes of trying to prove you are innocence they give up and your buggered!

You get the choice of just admitting guilt and taking a small sentence or fine or going to a higher court and hope your barrister can outwit the opposition because if he cannot you will get a far far higher sentence if the other side charms the judges . Belive me these people can make you look like a mass murderer if you dont PROVE your innocence ! Hopefully in these cases the judges can see through the spiel and come out with the right conclusion!

Lib Dens + Labour = 15,506 votes - 49.26% of votes excluding those cast for MRLP, other tiny parties and spoilt ballots.

Conservatives + BP + UKIP = 15,974 votes - 50.74%. of votes excluding those cast for MRLP, other tiny parties and spoilt ballots.

Doesn't look as if enough have changed their minds to change the outcome of a referendum to me.

Looks a lot like it was tactically a bad idea for BP to field a candidate in this one.

Looks a lot like UKIP's internal woes have had the entirely predictable effect of making people jump ship.

And....Strange that Cod didn't mention this......

It looks a lot like Labour have been utterly rejected by the electorate in Wales...!

5.28% of he vote is a disaster for Comrade Corbyn and could see the end of his leadership.

Unfortunately for the Labour Party, they have the same problem as the Democrats in the US, in that the person that the "Woke" activist base might elect to replace him would likely be at least as unappealing to the general public as he is.

Oh and trust me, if this were another referendum, rather than a by-election, more people would have come out to vote - and they would have voted Brexit.

Edit: On reflection, perhaps I should have counted the MRLP votes as being in the Bexit camp. They are definitely not pro-remain but there is some internal debate about the form Brexit should take. They note the division and suyggest a suitable MRLP compromise:

It seems that many are not happy with the way Brexit is going and want a referendum on every dot and comma..The discussion goes further to decide whether we should have a Hard Brexit, or a Soft Brexit.

Loony Party policy on this is clear..we prefer Al dente Brexit.

Although Ready Brexit was an option….

So was the result a plus for brexit or a minus well conservative HQ put a tweet out before the by-election stating a vote against the conservative candidate is a vote again delivering Brexit and what did the majority do vote against delivering Brexit and as we are so often reminded its the will of the people take it as you want but people have spoken .and have now rejected Brexit in Wales thats unless it is imposed on them , maybe the majority can see through bullshit and lies that just maybe the Golden Fleece promised by Farage , Johnson and co isnt quite what it is made out to be as it has now shows has been rejected.by the majority.

Conservative HQ can tweet whatever they like. Regardless of who won on first past the post, the fact remains that despite your claims to the contrary, the majority of people in the constituency still voted for parties who are committed to leaving the EU.

It seems that a deal was done to clear the way for the Lib-Dems.

Had the same been done with the Conservative and the Brexit Party, the result would have been very different.
