Verminous insects!

The exist in about every butchers i have ever visited ,it would be difficult to prove any resulting illness visiting such places was the coopermatic or general meat hygeine in its way from farm via lorry to wherever its killed then the onward journey to your plate

Certainly i would trust zapping over general spray fly killers whose contents are not shown and most probably not long term tested on humans.

Not sure how meat is delivered today but lorries brought it when i worked in the industry and chaps with blood stained shoulders hefted it of hooks (leaving the doors wide open from arriving to departing) and put it on hooks in the butcher department ,at no time did i see anything between carcass and clothing (excepting the mesh cloth on NZ lambs)nor how clean the lorry was and anything that flew into said lorry between deliveries.

Perhaps nowadays inspectors come with each carcass and flick off flies and bacteria with some sort of magic wand?

 

I wouldnt hesitate to say its most probably much safer to have a mozzie explode ten feet behind me than touch one handle in a toilet whatever the cleaning regime is! I await Cory to prove my thoughts wrong taking in my position in relation to the zapper and the prevailing wind direction at the exact moment

Theres probably more bacteria on the table from birds and general infestation than a zapped mozzie i routinely do not steralize my garden furniture before looking at my freshly cutgrass and i doubt many do unless Cory would like to dredge up some survey on garden furniture post grass cutting cleansing?
