Anodes are done every year. Engine is a fairly recent brand new replacement. Anti-foul spotless. The old boy loved this boat :)

How big is it ,ours was only 18ft so room limited very old boat though and tough with very thick fibreglass

We believe it was a silouette but it lacked the front windows so may have been a home build ?

This is 26ft. It's also a tough boat. They built them that way in the 70's :)

Thats a big boat to tow about ,i can see why its moored!

Ours was a pig to get it on its trailer it had to sit on 3 points but the slipway in pompey harbour was steep and made of lage granite blocks so the trailer was at an acute angle and you could winch the boat to the front of the trailer then drag it up out of the water and hoped the boat was sitting right ,if not you started again.

On a slipway in the sea like stokes bay it was impossible you couldnt pull the trailer out fast enough before a wave moved the boat and unless the water was calm and perfectly clear you couldnt see where the keels were !

We wondered why the springs had been removed when we towed it home ,once we put new springs on the trailer we realised the thing was a foot higher so you had to back further in to get the boat on! The landrover was halfway in before the damned boat could get on the trailer! You couldnt just put the trailer in and use a rope to pull it out the gaps between these blocks were so wide the jockey wheel went down them so ,in retrospect i would have put a skid on the front

In the end every trip was spoiled getting the boat back home so we went back to an army inflateable ,no comfort but faster all you had to do was not stub fags out on the gunnel!

Owned a small sailing dinghy for many years, Found that you could sail it, or fish from it , but not both at the same time ! When fishing, left sails and mast behind, pulled the centre-board up, and relied on oars.
