Fishing From A Sailing Boat

I’ve fished from various sail powered vessels, best I found was a baited or lure attached paravane chucked out the back whilst ambling along at a couple of knots.

Went to spec-out a marina here yesterday. Big wedge of cash, but I think we'll be happy there. Once I've signed on the dotted line, we'll start taking a few photos and videos and, time permitting, write a bit about the fishing. Now quite Sailing La Vagabonde, but picture a supermarket own-brand version of them

Sailing craft are made so as to make a deep hole in the water.  It's a fine place to throw money

I was especially impressed and thrilled at the price of a new brass prop - Edit: (maybe it was bronze?)

Update: I've been paying for a marina berth for months, at great expense. My boat remains tied to a mooring in a different river 

Fingers crossed, a friend and I are moving her next week. Come the zombie apocalypse, you'll find me fishing on the River Orwell.

Whoops ,hope it goes well for you ,it gets cheaper just to book a trip on a boat if your not using yours every weekend

Some marinas are offering reduced fees while virus restrictions are being enforced, so don't sign too quickly.
