No idea if lorenzo rocked up but it's been hamerring down with rain all night and there's a break in it just now.

Going off the weather report there's lots of rain forecast for the next forseable future.

Not the best of conditions for an relaxing bit of fishing!

I'm on the other side of the Pennines, as you know Ian, and it's the same over here. Every river has possible flood warnings on it, and the rain is showing no let-up. We keep getting a torrential downpour, followed by a period of medium/heavy showers, then back to the downpour again.

I need to get out and cut the grass, but no chance. I should have cut it before we went away, but got side-tracked, and haven't had a chance to cut it since we got back, I might need a scythe to get through it at this rate.

Serious heavy showers now, some are a mix of rain and hail. Looks like my plans to do a bit of fishing this avvey have been scuppered.

I hope your wrong about the snow Phone....I hate the stuff! To be honest the temp's just now are way to high for snow, thankfully.

It wasn't that bad down here in the event but a few sharp showers spoilt the day. Tomorrow and Friday look a washout. The venue I spent a few hours at yesterday was awash with mud which I hate. You couldn't put a flask down and avoid it. I was meant to live in heat and sunshine.

I really thought you would have given it a miss Mike!

It rained really hard here on and off. If you were out in it you would be soaked in a minuite.

Where did you go, did you do any good?
