Considering, up to 300 million animals may have perished in the Australian bushfires. You'd have thought it would get more coverage. The BBC and other press agencies seem to be completely ignoring the utter destruction of wildlife. I think they are far more effected than the eighteen humans that have sadly lost their lives!

I probably need to man up.

Latest number is approximately 480,000,000 animals :(

It has been mentioned on the news and the news site, but the media is mostly about the affects on humans.

It probably doesnt matter in nature ,humans have an affinity and worry ,OZ is a vast country and those that survive will find huge empty spaces to move to once it all regrows .

Aboriginies have been using fire to cleanse and regrow areas long before we turned up to pet the animals  i doubt they shed a tear when it disapeared over the horizon and burnt a few million hectares here and there

If your feeling sorry for a few million animals 99% of all animals fish and the rest of thr species that ever existed on earth have died ,its natural ,it wont stop whatever we do or say

Some species have evolved so they can only reproduce in or after a fire hot places catch fire its something that happens there and in south africa etc

Its not the first and wont be the last

On the bright side a bit more gold will be found where it was to bushy to swing a detector ,theres always a silver lining lol
