Little confused to the terms being used in the media

We are in self isolation we avoid others so as to not catch the virus

Surely those with or suspected of having the virus are in self quarantine?

We isolate so as not to get it ,they are in quarantine so as to not pass it on

Watched a girl talking about "self isolation" on youtube ,half way through she started talking about food we go to the local farm shop they have milk and ham and eggs etc etc ,poor dear shes not in isolation at all she just shops locally and works from home!

PS the flour link i posted with the free delivery arrived tuesday and the second bag arrived today ,once all the rest is gone in a few months i will try it .Pointless opening big bags until you use the older stuff first

Hmmm?  how times have changed ,i got 40 hours community 'punishment' for sniffing next doors pants and they were still on the line!

Even more protection if you wear them before washing ,its a little known fact coronavirus cannot penetrate skid marks more than 5mm thick

Bugger the breadmakers died! And seemingly not one out there to buy until its fixed! Bloody painasonic i expected more than a month out of it lots of flour now i will have to make bread the hard way and i hate sticky dough on my hands ?

Surprised amazon just doesnt replace it but no it has to be dealt with by some repair guy who will just put it in the dustbin and suggest a new one is issued ,there are no new ones!

Once we used the several in the freezer i will try a few of these no knead recipes on youtube

We had the Morphy Richards Fastbake Breadmaker for over 4 years and it's still going strong. Not expensive, can thoroughly recommend it :)

I've done a few no knead recopies using high hydration dough and they work reasonably well but take quite a bit longer than normal because you're using extended proving to stretch the gluten.

I got marginally better results by increasing the hydration a little more to the point where I could actually stir the dough to stretch it, then bring the flour content up and make it into cobs. It'd work even better with a stand mixer and dough hook but I don't got one.

Yes i think (going by youtube) the trick is using more water than normal !one vid the women dumped the ingrediants in a tup and it rose so high it escaped ,the rolls produced werent pretty but seemed  fine .

She used a square plastic scraper to divide the dough up then floured the dough until it was tame!
