All,

When fishing for longnose or shortnose gar no nylon stocking. In this instance we all used cotton rope and anything customarily used as live or natural bait. Usually use fish parts or rotten road kill.

You know? I cannot ever remember catching an eel on any rig.  Wonder if I'm just getting "to that age" I know American eel occur profusely in the Mississippi tributaries (of which the Missouri River is a part) and that is my home territory. I'm gonna keep  thinkin on it.

I watched the river monster guy for awhile. I'm sure he has been taught or learned every trick in the book.  I've soured on him a bit and only watch on accident now days.
