I remember buying a dunkin donut at the same circus ,big queues  for such bland things

My first week was learning the switchboard ,when asked where we were the standard joke was we're behind the times which usually got the reply not when where! And the same answer was given .they then asked for the address which was 5,6,&7 ireland yard .i worked there as the last stones were being lifted fron london bridge

All,

The world seem to be taking BREXIT rather matter of fact. Concerns surrounding Covid-19 in the UK is of far greater importance. BREXIT seems to be a yawner.

My question is, since you are "out" how many generations will it take for the blame game of "them or us" speculations subside and you are once again the UNITED KINGDOM (in whatever form that might be)

It has only been four days Phone. Wait until March or April. Let's see how swimmingly it is going then.

Britain is less safe with brexit .

The former Metropolitan Policecommissioner has said the UK will be less safe now the country has left the EUand the Brexit process is complete

Sir Ian Blair’s remarks came after Priti Patel claimed the nation could be made safer after exiting the bloc by police and security agencies being handed “even tougher powers
Sir Ian rejected the suggestion, and pointed to the loss of the European Arrest Warrant and a major EU database which had been accessed more than 500 million times a year by British police.

“We’ve lost powers,” he told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme on Monday. “We’ve lost full access to Europe-wide, real-time, interrogatable databases on criminal records, DNA, fingerprints, criminal intelligence

Cory,

Haven't we been waiting since 2016?

I'm afraid the virus will continue to dampen the pace of progress  in either direction. IF the UK and CALIFORNIA are any indicators this is really serious shite. A peculiarity of people controlling money is that they abhor change

COD,

Wasn't it Sir Ian BLAIR who fell from favoUr of the police commissioner through a series of events that showed up his lack of judgement, and people skills. Is he YOUR chosen "go to" guy for advice
