? Stick to the facts Chester’s especially on brexit it’s no good theses goody two shoes  fantasies the leave side promised  reality is here so brace  yourself old fruit .??

We hold all the cards ????  What the leave side meant was the p45s

The public couldn’t give a flying hook about brexit it now means very little  in the reality of things , every time the half Witts post it up on social media  to try and get it back in the headlines to take the heat off the government with Covid 19  it gets no response at all there is more important fish to fry than brexit .

Well ken the drink industry well it depends which drink industry you look at we import loads of beers   and wines from the Europe ,But according to these people it’s ain’t going to be that rosy is it .

Miles Beale, Chief Executive of the Wine and Spirit Trade Association, said the measures are “another blow to wine importers, independent wine merchants, pubs, and restaurants at a time when so many are already worried about their businesses and making finances go further.”

https://www.thedrinksbusiness.com/2020/05/what-the-uks-post-brexit-tariffs-mean-for-the-wine-industry/

Quote

The new UK Global Tariff (UKGT) will apply to all goods imported into the UK unless there is a tariff suspension in the company they are sent from, they come from developing nations, or a trade agreement has already been reached with the UK.

Hmmm. I wonder if that can be arranged with Australia, the USA, Argentina or Chile?

Not many Brexitiers drink French wine, so not much los if the French want to sell their wines elsewhere

Cod,

A bit of history should help. The Bank of England quote is factual. The slump of 1706 was the results of nature. The slump of 2020 is the result of nature. For comparison the economy was ravaged 15% in 1706 and The Bank of England predicts a drop in the UK economy in 2020 of 14%. That was the message.

HORRIBLE NUMBERS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH BREXIT. The Bank pointed that out - THE BLAME IS ONCE AGAIN  IS TO BE BLAMED ON NATURE IN THE FORM OF COVID-19.

Is your message going to continue to blame your government FOR the pandemic? Your point of view is taking on the elements of wizardry and witchcraft. In that case you need to drop back to, from 1484 until around 1750, when some 200,000 witches were tortured, burnt or hanged and later during the industrial revolution were branded TORYS
