Of course everybody knew a second wave was coming but when you don’t t take notice of experts you pay the price .With a probably longer lockdown and a bigger hit on the economy

I can see that within 2 or 3 years the Covid-19 will be no more harmful than the common Cold (Which is also virus lying dormant in everyone until one becomes run down)

Those clever people at Lemsip & Strepsil etc will have developed something to relieve the symptoms. It'll be no more than an inconvenience within a short time.

I believe the common cold could or did kill chimpanzees when we first started research using experts mixing with them?? 

We are just a bit up from Chimps in some respects!!

They are wittering on about this new (untested in the realms of releasing inoculations) about its 90%+ effective rate grab it with both hands a few years ago the flu jabs effective rate was 3% then later 10% and we spent millions buying it 

There some nonsense floating about in the minds of the conspiracy theorists the jab will contain a mind control nanobot! Strange the flu jab already has one people think because they have a jab that had a 3% effective effect they could mix with people who had the flu and not get it!

Time sick people here had to wear masks in public as they do in japan!

Looks like the PPE procurement has been compromised  but why would the procurer care its not their money its ours!

Before a certain person jumps in with the usual hate the tory crap nhs procurement has nothing to do with boris or the government  theres dozens of systems of procurement ppe appears to be down to to public health england a sub department of DHSC all the government does is a minister instructs them to do what he says ,the people at PHE will jump up and say yes sir then go back to playing online bingo or watching youporn and ignore him ,when they get caught nothing happens so they dont change will Duncan Selbie be sacked ?i very much doubt it

We have good reason to feel this way and simply attacking us or bad mouthing us is not going to change our minds. We will not be silenced.

 

I for sure will never have another one again. No chance, I don’t care what you say to try and convince me, I’ve fallen for that trap too many times before!!

The local doctor's health nurse was on the phone for 15 minutes last evening (she phoned back later for another 10 i didn't know my voice was so beguiling.

Anyway in the chat she mention i hadnt had my flu jab this year

I told her i never had last years one either !

She told me to think about it 

I told her i had and was it safe to go to the surgery on 3 seperate buses through a hospital into the waiting room with outher people and could get corona to get a jab that has historically a very low success rate .

She went quiet and said theres another worthwhile jab in the offing (i was exhausted i dont do phones) something to do with lungs or gut i dont know ,its a one off she chirped ,

I said AH now you want to stab me twice and get corona ,it seemed to amuse her

We then talked about blood pressure she needed to know it!

I said i will do a weeks sample but the APP (we have to use an APP to book appointments and get prescriptions)wont let anyone share documents stored on it (surely it should? It seems sensible for the doc to have documents you send to it) she said she would share a link to a email i could send it.

And she said i need a wee sample !

I said i cant see a way of emailing that !

Whats your glucose level like ,i told her i will send a weeks reading of that

Unfortunately our dependance on tech is not the advance they tell us it is its ok if the patient is tech savvy but even then not perfect especially taking the ****!
