Re your previous post, I see you did everything but answer my question, as usual Paul.  I'll ask you another question and see how you don't answer this one. You go on about "experts", and have done, along with others, since before the Brexit vote. It was all "listen to the  experts, they know more than us". What you and the rest failed to acknowledge was that "experts" have varying opinions on any subject. So what you really should be saying is, "only listen to the experts, that agree with me".

In light of this, what criteria do you use to determine which "expert" is going to give the best advice about the future progress of a new, and unpredictable, virus?

Also your belief that Corbyn couldn't do a worse job is laughable.  He has been so indecisive over every issue since he emerged into the spotlight, that unless it was written down clearly, in a socialist manifesto  he would have to call for a consensus on every decision.

Corbyn do a worse job are sure about that decisive how many times did boris change course in this pandemic .

You cannot comment  anything about Corbyn in the present situation he is not in charge Boris Johnson is full stop.

If my auntie  had a balls she would be my uncle is a better expression.

Experts ? So in very simple terms Boris Jonson herd immunity do you think he made Hugh mistake in that judgment  YES  or NO they were willing infect millions and as Dominic  Cummings said his chief  adviser a few old people will die but so be it  how wrong that clown has turned out to be .

Experts ? So let’s put it in a nutshell John do you think boris Johnson  has let the frontline NHS workers down yes or no a very simple question .

Did you watch the video John I will post it for you again Boris Johnson cheered Jeremy Corbyn did not the same people who cheered in refusing a reasonable pay rise for NHS workers in 2017  are now trying to  patronising them so many have  short hooking memories.

A ,'few' old people will die yes they will !they die every winter from flu or secondary disease whats your point?

Isolating works far better than tests or stays in hospital ,is your amazing intellect finding another better method ?

All tests do is tell you a person has the virus or does not ,it dosent change reality or cure anything.

I just think your upset your precious holiday and cheap fags are going on hold and need to blame someone other than nature

You snivel and whine about nurses ppe yet fail to see its a world wide occurrence not just some fault of the tories ,even your precious germany has ran out ,even the biggest economy on earth america has run out !

If the virus haddent originated in china who make half the worlds ppe there would be plenty ! They used it all themselves we used our stocks which normaly are just enough for a normal year and couldnt order any more just like the rest of the world!

Clueless ,no need to inform us we know

PS cummins can say what he likes just like everyone else he is an 'advisor' (why do we need them?) Not an elected member or parliament who also can say what they like just like everyone else! they should be judged on their actions not their opinions

Correct, the only way forward is any person exhibiting symptoms isolates away from as many others as possible, simple.

The test that people are using as a stick to ‘prove’ they know better than everybody else how to run a country in the grip of a crisis is at best unreliable, the information and data available to medics and scientists is simply not big enough to make plans that do not change as more information becomes available.

The Dr. at the forefront of the fight in China who was one of the first to bring it to World attention was diagnosed with the virus by CT scan and XRay and yet he tested negative for it on at least six occasions. Following the expert advice of the social media expert on here, testing NHS staff and sending them back to work after a negative result would lead to a total disaster, but I suppose that would also be the tory’s fault for buying/using the tests.

Quote

Herd Immunity. (Noun)

the resistance to the spread of a contagious disease within a population that results if a sufficiently high proportion of individuals are immune to the disease, especially through vaccination.

"the level of vaccination needed to achieve herd immunity varies by disease"

From Oxford English Dictionary. It doesn’t take a lot of effort to look in other sources after reading crap on social media or being stirred up by media hype.

To get back to the subject, with the PM now in intensive care at hospital many people from all sides of the political spectrum have come forward to offer him their support. Any word from comrade Corbyn? Not that I've seen.
