BAH i thought it was Gary Glitter lol (actually i do like glitter music am i brave to admit it?)

I grew up with rock and roll continually on the radio and tv (mum like half the country rented one for the coronation and kept renting it most probably why we starved!) Then the 1960's came along and i took interest in music but went down the dark side IE classicle music

Then i discovered kraftwork in 1970 and discovered electronics make far better notes than strings or drums liked it from then on ,Clubland is my go to music station on the box!

Dont own a radio though the last time i had one RNI had sunk ! Cant abide tuning out songs i dont like trying to find ones i do !

Surprisingly though i did enjoy transatlantic sessions, I suppose it brings out my Scottish side and no electronics except maybe an amp! Guitars were to me background noise but I discovered a certain Dobro player.......

So i found i like scottish and yank music played with real instruments again ! I can recommend the film this music features in with clooney 'Oh brother where art thou '

This though is what i listen to when its late and the mrs is watching some crap on tv ,i love mixes ,some music is vastly improved now that electronics is at every fingertip And you see girls!

Spot the porn celebrity ?

I was more interested watching who the porn star was porning! But just for you

PS in the 90's i was probably the age of those making it illegal for such gatherings!

I think those born just pre war to the millenium have had the best of it! Its going downhill fast heaven knows what the country will be like when these entitled narcissists you see on youtube are in power!

I was born in 53 just when the country was recovering from being tramatised from ww2  to be traumatised by the cold war ,it wasnt until the mid 60's the country started undoing the shackles of those who had grown up with victorian parents ruling the roost !

I worked in london at 15 it was like being in a sea of clones ,suits, briefcases and bowlers were the rule it was just changing from edwardian england to what we saw 30 years ago  ,now its getting to we need some victorian rules injecting back in before the country implodes

God help the country if the www falls apart half of it wont know how to tie their shoe laces !

You should all be grateful of whatever choice you made, I grew up on Army Barracks all over, my Father was a Regimental Sergeant Major, our choices of LP records were such things as ‘The Massed Bands of The Highland Regiments’ or ‘The Royal Marines Beat the Retreat.’ Only when ‘Amazing Grace’ was released did I become socially acceptable.

My mum had a penchant for the scots guards and they're incessant piping and drumming, you were not alone!

There must have been a stack 2ft highof them in parades or even more ghastly their renditions of pop music! we gayly hefted into the skip when she died ,dont mind small pipes cannot abide those big ones

No idea what my old man liked the only record we found after he died was a floyd cramer one ! I hardly knew the guy he was in the navy until i was 9 ,i left home at 16 and we only really got on after mum died a couple of years before he did

We used to visit ofcourse but small chat and pleasentaries are not what i call in depth ,after mum died he moved in with us for 6 months until he sorted himself out but respected we were a seperate entity and insisted on looking after himself,we were never a close family anyway lol

My sister and i even regard our two other siblings being a different family despite having the same parents ,it seemed they had a better upbringing than us ,realistically not through envy no doubt money was more plentyfull the houses certainly were!

We grew up to fend for ourselves and certainly think for ourselves and ultimately find out for ourselves hence not believing what others say because a great deal of the times its white lies or just damn lies or made up because its easier than explaining

My mum a semi religious zealot was always ranting on after lashing out about a" black mark in gods book" everytime i rebelled ,i must have filled complete book all to myself lol

My dad was the opposite he sat in a different room and not to be disturbed !

I can see you like lots of instruments at once!

At least its not jazz which in my ears is 4 or 5 people playing entirely different tunes at the same time!
