Here's mine...

I've always liked John Searls artwork and especially this print.  I know it's daft but it's just another form of ornament ....in'it LOL.

I use the reels and floats so they're working ornaments :).

I have 2 fish photos that are used by Museums Victoria for reference purposes, a trevally and a scad. The senior ichthyologist asked if the Museum could have a copy of one.

I think I remember seeing a photo of yours which was a little more than a wall....it was a full room!

I have an attic room full of my gear but I put a few bits in the corner of a downstairs room to go with the John Searl print.

LOL theres many boxes in the attic as well! A 6ft locker crammed with rods and several holdals ,i am far more selective now!

In the picture, I posted before there's just a couple of mitchells i could fill a wall with those they reside in ali boxes in the loft ,the rest were all intrepids had i known how many models were actually made i wouldnt have bothered!

The only fishing related print i have is this one :

https://www.dropbox.com/s/d5u1pbywt6hqjfo/IMG_20200531_102637.jpg?dl=0

Its now relagated to a position between two doors as i installed the telly on the wall it was on all our walls are full of pictures the mrs agrees can hang

You will probably recognise it lol

Funny you should say that Ken, I keep saying i'm gonn'a have a picture or two blown up and frame them.   If you think about it it would mean more to me than looking at a print of someone elses fish capture.

I'll have to try and catch a special fish and do my best to take a decent picture first ?.

Trouble is that success is often inversely related to prepardness.

When I had my double figure barbel last year, I had no scales, no camera and I was fannying around with another rod when the bite happened.

Conversely, If I take all the gear, a nice camera and a tripod, I'll not get a tap.

To be honest, to take a photo i'm happy with the pictures my phone takes, and I nearly always have it with me....just gott'a get a decent fish now!

After saying that, I do have a picture of my first actual weighed double on my float gear.

It was a wierd scenario that day as I kept telling  yself that my tenth fish would be a double, I won't go through the tale again as I told it on here a few years ago when it happened...it is a true tale though and my tenth fish did turn out to be over 10lbs!,

Here's a couple of the fish before I got the tenth one...

And here is the double...

sept-27-barbel-10.jpg

I have thought about having this picture enlarged and framing it since it was my first float caught barbel of over 10lbs.  Only snag is it's tail is coverd with grass and my  float isn't in the pic!
