CHESTERS1

Blanked - I think what threw me off my game was the amount of the sanitizers chlorine and bromide added to such a small puddle.

After a 3 or 4 minute session we decided not to waste the day out and frolicked about  acting and looking foolish.  The host,an old friend, had dumped half a dozen goldfish in before we showed up and blamed me for blanking.

I agree, I don't think we damaged the swim for the next idiot angler.

OMG - we will not discuss the sunburn and at the most I was exposed less than 30 - 40 minutes. I blame the adult beverages

All in all it is now nearing 5pm and we arrived 10ish. For the first time in forever the 7 of us were free from the thoughts of covid-19 and our personal safety.

Over here it would be packed with 5 - 7lbs carp, probably 200 - 300, 50 pegs around the edges and opened as a commercial carp fishery and popular match venue. We would then have people telling us they are great anglers cos they can put a bag of over 100lbs together in 5 hours. Or maybe I'm getting sceptical in my old age and it's just a pool.😆
