I bumped into a Nurse at Southampton General Hospital who was at School with me, She lived in Wroxall,  when I asked her why she left the Island she replied “because I didn’t want to marry my brother!

Maybe he got the Idea from Julie Andrews in "The Sound Of Music". - She made the Von Trappe kids clothes out of curtains!!
