The fees are complicated and it depends on several circumstances

My neice went to Cambridge for a year which was covered under the scheme ,her second year was in china which wasnt then back to Cambridge for the third year .She then haggled a scolarship to SOAS (the tutor is in very high regard) to finish her batchelors

Then back to Cambridge for 2 years to finish her masters

Then one year in Cambridge and one in america on a scolorship (top 6 in america)

And now shes completed her doctorate and deciding if she want to go back to america to grab a proffessorship with the tutor shes been following about (accademic stalking)

What people forget though is the loan is for tuition ,theres a grand a year if your lucky for accomadation which goes no-where especially around cambridge so the actial tuition fees are not the total cost students are going to have and its means tested its nothing like the old student grant ,then you have the cost of materials which can be very expensive

You can work 20 hours a week and you can take on course related research that can pay,if you end up in tescos then you dont pay the tuition fees back so your not saddled with a debt just years of wasted time that could have been better used working from the start

That is the important part.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
