Is this getting all too silly?

Decided to watch tonight’s ‘Britain’s most historic towns’ for several reasons, I love history, I lived and worked in Pompey, I like Alice Roberts as a presenter and most of all my M. Grandfather was a Gunner on HMS Victory whilst she was still afloat!

Started off quite good but the program diverted away from history to an opinion on Slavery and how Nelson was an altogether nasty chap.

Waiting for the part where they are going to tell the audience the pivotal part the Royal Navy played in the interception of slave traders and the freeing and repatriation of slaves, won’t hold my breath.

"My imaginary friend doesn't like your imaginary friend is no basis for armed conflict...."

Unfortunately, the truth isn't always convenient  , hopefully, someone in the future doesn't look at old adverts and think england was inhabitited by black people  only ,going by the adverts and the rush to be 'inclusive' the majority are not white as it is in reality.

Now the police? (Missed the first bit) are going to insist 40% of new intakes are not white ! Isnt that racist? America tried reverse discrimination it failed miserably ,they were employing less qualified blacks in the frenzy to look good over more qualified whites !

If these presenters want to look at slavery turn their eyes inwards not backwards its alive and well just under their noses but its easier and safer to point at dead dead people who cannot speak back

I think the time of reality speak is soon going to be classed as a hate crime ,are we signing our own admission of guilt ,will the speak police be reading old posts and hunting down the nasty purps so they can prosecute them for upsetting their view on what history should be in their narrow minds?

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong
