Hello all

My name is John, living in Whitstable Kent having retired here ten years ago after a life in London where I worked as chauffeur.

I fished as a kid on the Thames and various ponds around southwest London, marriage, work and children sort of got in the way and I didn't fish for another 40 years!

Started up again seven years ago fishing the river Stour in and around Canterbury, a few lakes belonging to the CDAA and more recently very lucky to get into a small syndicate to fish an estate lake just a few minutes from home.

Started having a dabble at sea fishing a couple of years ago, mainly lure fishing for bass with limited success to date, another huge learning curve, but that's all part of the fun! ?

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Hello John, and welcome to AN :)

Because of problems in the past with spammers and other people of ill-repute, we have had to instigate an approval system on the forum, but once you have passed the 'magic number' of posts your messages will no longer need approval by admin/mods, so keep on posting :)

John

Welcome John, I am in Kent as well, I hope you enjoy the AN experience.:D

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.
