With today being the 5th anniversary of our leaving the EU, it got me thinking back to Anglersnet at that time. I'm sure that the furore that preceded the vote, and the run up to 2020, was one of the reasons AN ended up like it is today. The amount of anger and  animosity that it brought out in some of the posts, caused some to leave, and one particular member kept it going as long as he could, I believe out of spite. He played a big part in me stepping back.

Maybe it was just a coincidence that it all happened at around the same time, but I'm sure Brexit played a big part.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Totally agree with you on that John, yes it got a bit "Toxic", and frankly, quite "Boring" after a very short while & it just dragged on and on and on and on IMHO.

Any way Mate, hope you like my "Cupping" cup for the landing net handle pic' ! I keep plugging away at Posting bits & pieces etc.

Take care of yourself John.

All the best.

Martin.
