ooooo i hate this tdsserv virus, im prety sure its the same one i had a while ago,

go to your "Device manager"

select "view > show hidden devices"

in "non-plug and play driver" find TDSServ and disable it DONT UNinstall i did this and couldnt remove the thing at all and had to reformat in the end

find all the files regarding this little git and delete them.

after that all should be good. when i found it on a second computer i did it diffrently this time i just left it in the drivers section disabled.

i hope this helps

Hi Andy

Yeah I think that it is this nasty. The reason that it is so difficult to exterminate is that it is a rootkit type.

The file on this link is supposed to remove it. I haven't tried it as I have never been infected with it but it looks to be pukka. Give it a go Ant. otherwise this is how to remove it manually, but it looks like a lot of work.

This sounds similar to something I had recently and the only program I found that worked was malwarebytes antimalware www.malwarebytes.org

Worked for me.

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))
