Hi all, Liam has a football match in Lee on Solent on Saturday, is it worth putting the beach rods in? if so can someone point me in the direction of a tackle shop please.

:D Definatley worth putting the rods in. Now a new tackle shop called Castaway in L-O-S High St.

I have fished L-O-S quite a bit in the past. I would suggest parking up here and walking a little way along away from the road.

 

There used to be a good website for catch reports at solent-fishing-guide.co.uk, but they've made it subscription only for people who don't submit regular catch reports. Useless.

still there in an improved form but free as far as i can see?

I tried to have a look to see what's being caught, and found that I get prompted to log in. The log-in page is this:

So it will cost me a fiver for access for three months. Not really worth it for me, maybe if I lived closer it would be.

Phone the Tackle shop!
