'went out of millford haven today tryed out new pirks from lidils got a big bite got fish to top of the water big bass o god is this my first double figure bass then it was gone split ring on the pirk had opened when i stop crying put new split rings on all the rest so if you had some of them have a good look at the split rings'

 

Change them now.

There's a Lidl in town but I rarely go there, is any of their fishing stuff up to much, I am sceptical?

I lost a 20lb Salmon a few years ago due to dodgy split rings :mad: ....now, I always change em if I buy cheap tobys etc.

Just got a flier through my door from Lidl. They're having an angling weekend sale starting Friday 24th if anyone is interested.

if you mean the £9.99 box I agree some bits are weak. I don't know about now but a week ago someone was selling these on ebay the, last i looked one was up to £16!
