Matt, reminds me of Dungeness beach in the sixties. We used to catch on a good night about a dozen 8 to 10 pounders. had to make a couple of trips to the van over the long shingle walk . By this time, it was so cold, they were frozen stiff. Even the lug would freeze!

what size pirks u use on them rods BC?

Macky i use about a 10oz pirk and 30lb dynon and wack the jigger up tide,there also seems to something about the white dynon when you are pulling your pirk at an angle with your braid laid across the bottom i am sure the movement of the white braid also attracts the fish but that is just my theory but having the white braid on always seem to fish better.
