Next time, maybe you`ll book with one of the Weymouth skippers? Colin Penny will castigate any anglers he sees throwing rubbish overboard! I can`t think of any that would chop an anglers line that had a fish attached. Unless a ferry was bearing down on the boat. And Pat Carlins dog doesn`t stink to high heaven.

I was out with him in July, you couldnt get a better skipper will be booking with him for next years trip

Have been out of Weymouth before on 'One For The Nob' (Hi Richard) & couldn't have had a better trip - I'd recommend this boat very highly. I've also heard nothing but good reports about Pat/Carra Carra & having had met him (he put me straight on filleting a Ling) I have to say he seems an agreeable chap

 

I haven't given up on West Bay (especially as it's on my doorstep) There are plenty of other charters going out from there, they can't all be bad

Get back behind the sofa!! Boat fishing monthly, p16 top left-hand corner. A pic of Caroline herself with a 4lb 8oz black bream.

If however you`d invested in Sea Dangler, on their p16 top left is a pic of our `Shaun` rockhopping for cod.

wont get boatfishing then, but will get a copy of sea hangler tommorow. Faith restored, have just got back from a lovely wreck/reef fish on board Joint Venture, out of lyme regis. The skipper, Alex, was the best you could hope for, he really coaxed my too little ones & the trip was worth it for the look on little willows face as she caught the biggest mackerell of the trip. Barney was not too gutted as he lost a bass right at the surface as he said it put up a real struggle. he said "dad, next time we go out, can we come out on this boat again ?"
