Bass at Bexy

I am extrememly chuffed to report I today caught my 1st ever Bass!

 

Using lugworm & squid cocktail from West Bexington

 

 

Was aprox 10 inches long, so it went back to fight another day ...

Well done the first is always the hardest!! I always put the first fish of the season back what ever the size, I usually try and catch a mackeral for the purpose but I have been known to put back some sizable bass!

Does anyone know when the spiders are in along and aroud abbottsbury. It's a waist of a 3 hr drive to lose alot of bait and hooks
