Shimano is proud to introduce its latest Team Tribal signing … Alijn Danau.
Since 1980, Alijn has been a fanatic carp fisherman. He built his experience in Belgium, France, Germany, Romania, Hungary, South Africa and on all kinds of water like rivers, lakes, reservoirs, mountain lakes, canals, ponds, gravelpits, syndicate lakes etc. His one goal still remains to fish the Moroccan reservoir in the Atlas Mountains.
Having caught 6 fishes of over 25kg and 2 over 30 kg he is considered to be the most successful carp fisherman in the Dutch language area • he is also the only person in the world to have caught fish over 60lb (27kg ) in three different countries.
Besides writing articles he contributed to several books and he is the author of the books “Karperblues†and “Tegen de stroom inâ€.
