General

Fishing  very well  despite the weather which has been very wet this week and dropped water temperature. Fish are still feeding ferociously and high catch rates are being reported by pleasure anglers.  Pellet soft hookers, expander and hair rigged  and paste working over angel pellets (feed), Worm tipped with two sweetcorn getting bottom feeding carp, tench, & roach fished dead bottom, or fish up and get rudd and golden rudd and even perch. Ide and orfe also taking all baits including sweetcorn. Hair rigged halibut pellets red, black and up to 25 mm doing the business for larger carp. Mix maggots or casters with groundbait or soaked angel pellets to form a good feed in feeder or ball in  and use larger hook baits to get some good specimens.

Lookout mixed coarse

Fishing exceptionally productively this week, loads of skimmers, some nice bream to 8lb,  tench best to 6lb, Golden Tench in huge numbers to 2lb plus, Lots of Golden Rudd, &  Rudd on the drop, Roach, some nice Ide, perch, some lovely orfe. All fish have pilled weight on but if using smaller baits you will get Angel bred fish (which have now bred for 4 years in a row) better in these water temperatures to go for 6mm pellet at least if targeting larger fish.
Kit Steele in a half day took 87 fish on feeder and waggler all on maggot and meat.
James cutting using meat took carp all day long and also some cracking bream.
Liam Shilling fishing the match Sunday took a good 4lb 4oz bream  post spawning and a female on peg 6.

Jimmy Hagan fishing peg 34  on pole using paste, worm tipped with sweetcorn doubled took 45 carp above 4lb as well as numerous under 4lb.
Brian Hall fishing pole enticed a 15lb 14 oz common on Saturday as well as carp to 8lb his arms were aching as the common did not want to come to the net.
Clive Brown fishing peg 36 took over 30 carp in a part morning session on paste and pellet over angel feed pellets.

Bassetts Mixed Coarse

Fishing at a great rate at times constant fish a chuck. Fish dead depth for roach, carp and tench and up in the water for rudd, fish close to margins tight to reeds or off the bottom shelf at 6 ft. Maggot, paste and pellet working well. Mix casters and with angel pellets soaked and get bags of skimmers.
Arron Whitehouse fished a full day getting soaked into the bargain but took well in excess of 150 fish best to 3lb.
