Another very windy week,  knocking presentation on all methods of fishing, you could almost use trotting techniques in the high winds as the water was moving so fast and wave motion was incredible, water temperature dropped again but still catches were made, Fish have been following the wind and are moving well.

Bassetts mixed coarse What a gem this pond is in the high winds it is very sheltered and anglers use all methods however pole, and waggler working well this week. Young Sarah Jackson with her granddad caught some carp from last years Angel bred at 6 oz to 2lb 10oz mirror as well as ide, skimmers and Rudd.

Lookout mixed coarse Some excellent catches with the first crucian out this year also Rudd, roach, ide, carp, perch, tench and lots of skimmers and bream. Keeping your box or chair fixed down and your tackle stowed away has been very necessary in the winds.

Bowes carp choice of good pegs is depending on wind direction it may not be comfortable for the angler to have wind directly in your face but that is where the fish are.  Some good fish being caught and not bad numbers considering water temperatures. Mark Smith Jnr enjoying some excellent catches and having to change pegs because of wind direction change.
