14 days ago water temp dropped to 9 deg, 7 days ago it rose to 18.2 then today it is 11.8 some major water temperature changes in 14 days!!!

Fishing has been very up and down through the day depending on choice of peg and weather conditions,  but excellent at dusk and dawn, Some stunning Koi and Ghost carp are being caught as they feed up towards winter and shorter day light hours.

Ide and Orfe also coming into their own as colder weather approaches with an average of over 2 lb per fish, large perch feeding well, some very nice 2lb crucians also getting caught, lots of bream getting caught also and some good rudd up in the water.

Iain Gillespie from Durham caught all day on 16aa and estimates he had over 200lb of carp his friend Melvin Trotter also from Durham fished for silvers on peg 17 and had a constant fish a chuck from blades to bream at 8lb 7oz.
