Children in Need money is put to good use

Following the receipt of an £83k Children in Need grant to deliver Angling4Success in the region, BBC TV has chosen to film the project to show how Children in Need money is put to good use.

Angling4Success is an outdoor experiential learning course in fishing and photography delivered by Energize of Bedford – a social enterprise that, amongst other community services, provides alternative curriculum education to middle and upper schools in Bedfordshire.

Angling4Success will be filmed on 5th.11.2008 at the Tingrith Fishery, in Tingrith, Nr. Flitwick, involving pupils from John Bunyan Upper, Samuel Whitbread Upper School and Harlington Upper School.

Some of the pupils attending will thereafter attend a follow on Angling4Success peer mentoring course, in which they will develop on their newly acquired angling and photography skills and learn how to pass these on to slightly younger peers.
