Steve Montague was inspired into a coaching session with Bury Hill Fishery manager Russ Evans after watching his ‘Obsessed Angler’ series on www.fishingcinema.tv – and ended up having ‘his best ever day’s fishing’.
The Twickenham angler fished Milton Lake with Russ and in four hours bagged 26 crucian carp up to 2lb, nine tench, plus two nice sized roach. Russ estimated my catch at 60lb.
“I had my biggest tench and crucian, so came away from the lesson with two new PBs, all caught on rod and reel plus a very light and sensitive waggler set up that Russ introduced me to.
“Using expander pellets and how to pump them was all new to me but now I’m a much better angler.”
