Catch report by Marlene Mc Laughlin

Once again the beautiful weather encourages anglers to give Cashel a throw.  Declan Heaney (Limavady) took two trout home which weighed 3lb and fell to green fritz flies.  Derry’s Ivor Smyth used rubber legged daddies to bank four trout averaging 2.5lb.  Kevin Burke (Claudy) released eight beauties which took suspender buzzers while John Hind and Craig Lewis (England) banked five trout in total with John’s two for home weighing 4lb 65ozs.  Dungiven’s Martin Bradley and John Hasson released half a dozen trout each which fell to assorted nymphs and suspenders.  Michael Edwards (Antrim) bagged three and released three which weighed 2.5lb each on average and fell to dawson’s olive and cat’s whiskers.  Gavin Mc Laughlin (Feeny) released two trout but unfortunately his two mates James and Roland were not just as lucky.
