Fly fishing report by Marlene McLaughlin for week ending 19th August, 2012

Derry’s Hugh Cooke used dries to bank seven in total while Maurice Whiteman also from Derry used dries to bank an amazing fourteen trout.  His mate, Paul McFadden, banked four on dries on his first visit.  Brothers Leo and Johnny Kealey (Limavady & Dungiven) had a lovely day using assorted dries to bank real fighting beauties.

Derry’s Paul Ford used suspender buzzers to bank five trout in total while Dungiven’s Barry McGilligan accompanied by his son Michael, on their first visit to Cashel, used buzzers but with no luck.

Dungiven’s Mark Boyce accompanied by his uncle Laurence Mc Gonigle bagged two and lost three.

Well done to all!
