A Devon village renowned for its field sports prowess is on the hunt for shooting and fishing items (including money can’t buy) for their annual auction in support of the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

Molland near South Molton in Devon lies on the southern edge of Exmoor, where field sports generate significant support in the local population.

The celebrated auction has already raised over £120,000 in its 10 year history and is aiming high in it’s 11th year.  The auctioneer will be Janes Green of Stags and Assistant Brian Buckingham, a notorious farmer from Molland.

Organiser Paul Beazley said: “Air ambulances in general provide an essential service but this is especially so in the more rural parts of Devon where land ambulances can take a long time to reach remote locations.

“In return, we run this very popular auction but we do need auction items and those related to shooting and fishing would be especially welcome.”
