Hardy & Greys Irish Sales Manager, Tom ‘Doc’ Sullivan and Mike Keady of the Hardy & Greys Game Academy have won the Irish National Teams Fly Fishing Competition.
Held on Saturday 14th August, the competition saw Tom and Mike, along with Basil Shields and Andrew Boyd representing Team Galway & Corrib be victorious against 27 other teams with a total of 5075 points and 18 trout with the competition run on a catch & release basis.
Basil Shields was also awarded Top Individual Angler, followed by Mike in 2nd and Tom in 3rd place. This follows Tom’s 3rd place in the Irish National in June which has qualified him for the Irish team in next year’s Spring International on Lough Conn.
