Barney Hodgson age 14 from Ampthill fished through torrential rain at Beckerings Reservoir tempting commons of 14lb 2oz, 17lb 4oz and 19lb 12oz along with mirrors of 16lb 12oz, 19lb 1oz and a new pb of 21lb 2oz. All of Barneys fish were caught on squid and octopus boilies supplied by The Bait & Feed Company.

Over at the South Lagoon Steve Moore managed a 19lb common, Alan Wilkie commons of 23lb 12oz and 16lb 13oz, James Usher two 15lb commons  while predator angler Greg Smith had a 19lb pike and 8lb zander.
 
On the adjacent North House Lake Dave Winters tempted a 21lb 8oz mirror, Carlo had a 19lb 10oz linear and Terry Bodsworth banked the Wanderer at 30lb on Mainline Cell Boilies with a size 8 hook and running lead rig.
Sadly the otter fence around North House was badly vandalised last weekend and the club would like any information to pass on to the police regarding this incident.

Young Angler With TenchJim Badgery took his 8yr old son Lewis to Woodland Lake where Lewis managed to catch a brace of tench at 4lb 6oz and 3lb 2oz along with some small carp and skimmers. Jim caught six carp to 6lb in between coaching his son. Corn as bait proved the successful method for the duo.
 
Luton AC are looking for bailiffs for two river sections near Milton Keynes and Bedford plus the Grand Union Canal around the Stoke Hammond/Leighton Buzzard/Pitstone areas. Please send an email to any of the Fisheries Management Team via the club website contacts page if you are interested.
