The opening month at the Nar Valley Fisheries complex has set the expectations for the rest of the season.
Double figure Bream and Tench to 8lb from both Lake Geneva and John’s Pond. We have had five thirty pound plus Carp reported from Lake Geneva, the best a 35lb Mirror Carp and a large number of upper twenty pound fish.
Probably the best individual catch so far has been by Junior member Levi King. Levi banked Mirror Carp of 29lb (pictured) and 28lb 10oz, and a common Carp of 22lb.
Fenn lake has produced a number of double figure and twenty pound Carp, to 29lb.
