Week ending 26th September, 2011 – supplied by Chris Newell

This week saw another new record Carp for the Nar Valley Fisheries complex, and a number of other quality fish from both Fenn lake and Lake Geneva.

A few twenty pound plus Carp were topped by bailiff Johnny Owen who landed a beautiful 35lb 2oz Mirror Carp while fishing Lake Geneva. This superb fish is a new complex record and is the 16th reported thirty of the season.

Meanwhile, Jordan Chandler caught his new personal best, his first 20lb carp from lake Geneva, he caught it on a scopex squid boilie tipped with fake corn on a blow back rig.

A few permits are still available from the local tackle shops in King’s Lynn and Swaffham.

Nar Valley Fisheries are currently working on a new stillwater trout fishery. The lake is over 15 acres in size and has many nice features, it will be a permit-only trout fishery. The lake will open in March 2012.  To register an interest and arrange a viewing, or further information, please contact Chris on 01553 636507.
