News release from Pallatrax

Pallatrax is pleased to announce that they have entered into a long term sponsorship agreement with the premier carp and coarse fishery Emperor Lakes of South Devon. As of now, this tie-in sees the fishery complex renamed as Emperor Pallatrax.

Emperor Pallatrax is an established and well known fishery which includes three lakes of 2.5, 4.5 and 6 acres, set within 50 acres of well tendered grounds. The fishery also has a further number of smaller pools and planning permission has been granted to expand the number of lakes in the future. The fishery has fantastic facilities: a brand new tackle shop and professionally fitted out café, showers, toilets and secure parking as well as helpful and qualified coaching staff.

Pallatrax MD Simon Pomeroy stated, “I’m both personally and professionally excited with this sponsorship. Emperor Pallatrax is without doubt one of the best maintained and forward thinking specimen fisheries in the UK. Under Dave and Jo Lidstone’s experience, guidance and passion, accompanied by a great on site team, the future only bodes well and we’re all looking forward to building on what is already a fantastic and likeminded relationship.”

Pallatrax’s sponsorship includes new signage for the whole fishery and sponsorship of the fishery’s pro team. Pallatrax will also hold on site events, as well as utilising the fishery for features and filming.

Fishery owner Dave Lidstone stated, “It is fantastic news that such an innovative fishing tackle and bait company is now sponsoring the fishery. The key factor for me was the obvious synergy that exists in the management of Emperor Pallatrax and the base philosophy behind Pallatrax. In short, we both care for fish and fishery welfare, and the ranges that Pallatrax produce certainly fall in line with quality products that help the angler to catch more fish, whilst also benefiting the welfare of our lakes. I particularly like the fact that the baits are designed as a planned fishery management tool, as well as high quality fishing baits. Another serious plus is that I am extremely ‘anti’ the deliberate dumping of leads; an extremely naïve and potentially dangerous practice. Stonze are not an alternative: they are the real deal.  Weights that not only do the job, but are also genuine angling tools with obvious environmental benefits against toxic lead.”
